Be All You Can Be

Enjoy serving the Lord, and he will give you what you want [the requests of your heart].

Psalm 37:4 (EXB)

For decades, the slogan ‘Be all you can be’ was a recruitment slogan for the U.S. Army. The implication was that in-service, the U.S. Army would help you reach your full potential.

And for so many people who served this country, that “slogan” is more than a catchphrase; it’s a source of pride. The fulfillment they received from representing this country is right up there with their most meaningful achievements.

I never enlisted in the Army, but I (like you) can attest to how gratifying it is to help others through service.

Embodying a spirit of kindness and loving others is how we best serve God. He, in turn, blesses us with even more compassion and more love than we can imagine.

I urge you to get out there and share your love for God, your time, money, and knowledge with others, so you too can reach your full potential and be all you can be.
