Welcome to your daily dose of inspiration, courtesy of Romans 12:1-2.
So I beg you, brothers and sisters, because of the great mercy God has shown us, offer your lives as a living sacrifice to Him—an offering that is only for God and pleasing to him. Considering what he has done, it is only right that you should worship him in this way.
We live in a world where most believe in something or someone, a higher power a spiritual force, not necessarily the God described in the Bible.
Can we allow the Bible to show us who God is, without the traditional framework of law and religion?
What has to happen for us to believe that the God of the Bible is alive and relevant today?
Many promises in the Bible can and will empower us along life’s journey, if we believe. If we don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world but let God transform us into a new person by changing the way we think.
Then we will learn to know Gods will for us, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
So here’s what I want you to do: Take your everyday life—your sleeping, eating, working, and social life—and place it before God as an offering.
Doing so will change you from the inside out. Such an act of faith will allow you to easily understand what he wants from you and empower you to respond in-kind.
Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you submit to it — instead, fix your attention on God.
Remember, embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.
