So these three things continue forever: faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love.
—1st Corinthians 13:13 (ICB)
Faith, hope, and love are three essential elements to living a righteous life.
The Bible tells you (in Hebrews 11:16) that without faith, it is impossible to please God. And throughout the book of Romans, you’re reminded to rejoice in hope — hope for what you do not see — and to be proud of the things you hope for.
However, in today’s reading, we see that love is the greatest virtue of them all. Love is the dominant theme of the Bible, and it serves as the centerpiece to Gods two most essential commands.
So if you can only express one thing during your time on earth, let it be love.
