Let Go and Let God
In its Easy-to-Read version, Proverbs 16:9 reads, People can plan what they want to do, but it is the Lord who guides their steps.
Simple yet profound, this important Biblical lesson reminds us that God’s purpose for our lives is better than the best of our best-laid plans.
We’re flawed, but He’s perfect.
We can learn, but He already knows.
We fall [all the time], yet He’s [always] there, ready to show His deep, abiding love for us—without ridicule or shame, ever.
Why would you ever NOT trust His plan?

Father, I humbly thank you for your perfect plan for my life.
I recognize that I am only a small part of your larger, divine plan, but I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the body of Christ.
I know that your plans are wise and just, so please give me the strength and courage to accept and embrace your tailor-made purpose for my life—one which will lead me to greater joy and fulfillment.
I ask for the wisdom to understand and the grace to follow your plan—trusting that it’s far greater than anything I can possibly imagine, ᴀᴍᴇɴ.
