Positive Thinking

Today is Positive Thinking Day and this holiday reminds us to acknowledge the power of positive thinking and learn how we can use it to our advantage.

And do not be conformed to this world any longer with its superficial values and customs, but be transformed and progressively changed as you mature spiritually by the renewing of your mind focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes, so that you may prove for yourselves what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect in His plan and purpose for you.

Romans 12:2

Praise God

When the fig tree does not bud, and there are no grapes on the vines; when the olive trees do not produce, and the fields yield no crops; when the sheep disappear from the pen, and there are no cattle in the stalls, I will rejoice because of the Lord; I will be happy because of the God who delivers me!

Habakkuk 3:17-18

Trust in the Lord

Trust issues can be painful and challenging, but choosing to be alone is also painful and challenging. God can solve both of those problems.

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

Psalm 37:3

Hope and Healing

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day, a day to raise awareness of this preventable tragedy. So if you’ve experienced depression and/or negative emotions – this passage is (especially) for you.

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

Grandparents

Do not let me fall by the way when I am old. Do not leave me alone when my strength is gone.

Psalm 71:9
