How to Release Love

Welcome to your daily dose of love, courtesy of 1st John 4:7-10.

Let us love each other because love comes from God. Those who love are God’s children and they know God.

Those who do not love do not know God because God is love. God has shown His love to us by sending His only Son into the world. God did this so we might have life through Christ.

This is love! It is not that we loved God but that He loved us. For God sent His Son to pay for our sins with His own blood.

It’s not enough to say I can love if I don’t know how to show it.

Do you want to know what love is? Defining love may be part of the reason that we can’t believe we have it.

Authors, artists, and scholars alike have tried to find love’s expression in place of its definition.

Mariah Carey famously sang: I wanna know what love is, I want you to show me. I wanna feel what love is, I know you can show me, which suggests that we need someone to show us what and how to love 🎵.

I’m here to tell you that love is a person, place, or thing — it’s an action — it’s something you do.
