Thank Him
Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you the power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath. Deuteronomy 8:18 NLT
Whenever we have success, it’s easy to puff out our chest and take all of the credit.
Yes, you put forth some effort, maybe a lot of effort, but the truth is, it’s God’s work in, through, and in front of you, that opens doors and impedes the plans of your enemies.
Are acknowledgment and thanks too much to offer [God] in return? When was the last time you acknowledged God’s amazing grace by opening your heart to someone else in need of the very thing God just blessed you with?
When was the last time you saw an opportunity to reach out to someone else but ignored them instead?
Look, you’re amazing. You have money, time, health, food, shelter, clean water, warm clothes, access to healthcare, technology, and opportunities for learning and growth—you have it all!!
And even if you think you don’t—you do have access to a God who’s willing to give you everything you need. So perhaps a little Thank You from time to time wouldn’t hurt.

Father, I am so grateful for your favor in my life. You are always faithful to my needs, and I thank you for the most important gift of all—your love.
I know I can be selfish [at times], so I ask that you help me to be [more] giving of my time and resources whenever the opportunities arise, Amen.
