It’s the least I can do

Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 CSB

Each day is an opportunity to live God’s plan for my life.

Only because of His mercy have I seen 45 years on this planet. Of course, some days have been better than others, but they’ve all offered unique learning experiences and blessings.

Happy, healthy, and blessed—every morning, I thank God for letting me see another day and humbly ask Him to use me to effect positive change.

I pray for friends, family, and people I’ve never met, and this morning I asked Him to gift me another day, even another 45, if He sees fit.

I do all of this out of appreciation and reverence. I do it because, for over 45 years, others have prayed for me. I do it because it’s the least I can do for everything God has done and [will] do in my life.

So If you only speak to God once today, do it as soon as possible. Use that time to plant a seed of gratitude and reap God’s grace throughout the day.
