The Weight of The World

“Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads. I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28 (ICB)

The Statue of Liberty has words of false hope and selective truths. However, God’s welcoming words of hope and support are real yesterday, today, and forever — for everyone.

In today’s reading, you’re reminded of your open invitation to take all of your baggage, insecurities, and frustration to God. No matter the circumstance, He will be your source of clarity and strength — He will be your rest.

So stop carrying the weighed of the world on your shoulders and let God replace your fear and anxiety with an attitude of heart and mind that can only come from Him.
